These gorgeous Kanthas are hand stitched by women in India using old Saris and any other discarded cloth. They are double sided and usually different on both sides, this is the first one I have seen that appears to be the same on both sides
The fringe is a new addition added recently, and really transforms these gorgeous throws into something more modern and unique. This particular one we have experimented with dyeing the fringe dark blue and I think it looks just stunning!!
Kantha is one of the oldest forms of embroidery and no one can deny its beauty.
Each throw is one of a kind so you can rest assured your item is unique, with that in mind please accept there could be small imperfections with the cloth and stitching.
Each quilt is made up of thousands of tiny stitches.
Picture is the actual kantha you will receive.
Please note all sizes may vary slightly and some kanthas may have small repair patches to the saris. .
